About the Class:
Video Broadcast Technology (or Digital Communication) is a project-based course focused on creation of digital objects. For each project, students will be given samples, evaluation rubric, and resources to assist them in their mastery of required skills. All projects will be completed in groups.
This class design is intended to maximize 21st Century Skill development: communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Students who master the larger projects more quickly will have the opportunity to extend their learning through fun enrichment activities. Individually, students will blog their own daily progress, and will set goals for the following class work time.
